Shiksha Setu is an AI-based attendance system developed for monitoring attendance in Assam Government Schools. It is designed to serve as a single source of information for day-to-day administrative operations. It is implemented by Samagra Shiksha Assam underElementary Education Department, Government of Assam. It was launched on 24.04.2023.

Key Features 

• It enables the department to take timely and data-driven decisions for optimization of resources and improve overall performance.
• Smart Phone is used for doing the AI enrolment of the students and teachers of the schools, for recording their daily attendance.
• ‘Shiksha Setu’ Mobile App has two logins – school and the teacher login.
• In the school login, one time enrollment of teachers/students, updating of teachers/students/class related data etc. can be done.   
• In the teacher’s login the respective teachers can take their self-attendance.
• The mobile app attendance works in offline mode as well, data can be sync later on the server.
• For the students, analysis can be carried out for the enrolment and the daily attendance, class-wise and gender wise.
