eSaras is a powerful and user-friendly e-commerce platform developed by Digital India Corporation under the National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM), an initiative of the Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD), Government of India. This platform is dedicated to improving the livelihoods of rural communities by providing a digital marketplace for products crafted by talented women artisans of Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and federated institutions.

eSaras.in is a dedicated online platform that connects artisans, Self-Help Groups (SHGs), and customers by offering a seamless marketplace to promote and sell authentic handmade and handicraft products. The platform was launched on October 28, 2022, by the Union Minister of State for Rural Development, Shri Faggan Singh Kulaste, and has since expanded its capabilities. These advancements have successfully bridged the gap between artisans and customers, opening up new market opportunities while preserving and promoting India’s diverse artistic traditions.

To enhance its reach, eSaras is integrated with the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC), making its products available on over 11 buyer apps. This integration provides artisans with unparalleled visibility while offering customers a seamless and enriched shopping experience.
