India AI Impact Pre-Summit Workshop at Kavaratti highlights relevance of AI in improving governance of Island ecosystem

As a pre-cursor to the global India AI Impact Summit 2026, an awareness workshop on AI and Digital India initiatives was conducted by the National eGovernance Division (NeGD), under the Ministry of Electronics & IT, in partnership with the State Department of Information Technology (LITSS) on February 2, 2026 at Kavaratti.
