Training Program on Data Protection and Data Governance in Lucknow
MeitY, in collaboration with NeGD and NISG, successfully conducted a one-day training program on Data Protection and Data Governance on September 15, 2025. The workshop brought together government officials, industry leaders, and data protection professionals to deepen understanding of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and its practical implementation. Sessions covered critical areas such as data inventory and mapping, consent management, notice requirements, rights of data principals, and technical and organisational safeguards for data protection.
