MeitY participates in the 3rd Destination Himachal Expo 2026
Organized in collaboration with Avishkar Sanstha and various Union ministries, state departments, and scientific institutions, the 3rd Destination Himachal Expo 2026 was a three-day mega exhibition held from October 23 to October 25, 2026, at the historic Chowgan Ground in Chamba, Himachal Pradesh. It was inaugurated by Governor Kavinder Gupta. The exhibition showcased the latest developments taking place across various sectors. Such exhibitions are essential to ensure that the public becomes aware of the products created by farmers, other individuals, and cooperatives, as well as the advancements India has achieved in science and technology. The MeitY stall helped students, locals and other visitors understand more about e-governance services like DigiLocker, Entity Locker, UMANG, etc. The closing ceremony on October 25, 2026, was graced by Chamba Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Chirag Sharma, who felicitated outstanding display stalls.
