DPO Conference in Mumbai
NeGD in collaboration with NPCI (National Payments Corporation of India) organized a Data Protection Officers (DPO) Conference on August 22, 2025, at Novotel Mumbai, Juhu Beach. This was an exclusive event, specifically focused on the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector. The conference aimed to facilitate focused discussions on data protection and privacy-related challenges unique to the BFSI domain. The event featured roundtable discussions, each focusing on a specific aspect of data protection. These round tables were chaired by senior officials from MeitY, NeGD, and NPCI.
