‘Digital India Talk Show’ cum Interactive Session at the Indian Maritime University, Chennai
NeGD, MeitY conducted a ‘Digital India Talk Show’ cum Interactive Session at the Indian Maritime University, Chennai Campus on November 29, 2024. The event was graced by Rear Admiral (Dr.) Rangachari P J (Retired), the Campus Director; Ms. Bhuvaneswari Rajendran, Deputy Registrar and Capt. Ganesh Srinivasan, HoD, School of Nautical Sciences, IMU.
The workshop included sessions on key initiatives under the Digital India Programme viz. DigiLocker, Entity Locker, myScheme, Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, UX4G, UMANG, Open Forge, API Setu, and ABC-NAD.
Students from various streams and faculty members of the university under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways participated in the workshop to learn more about the various e-governance platforms and applications and asked questions to the experts.
A ‘Digital India Quiz’ was organised for the participants that received an enthusiastic response wherein 14 students were declared winners.
