Digital India State Consultation Workshop at Lucknow
A Digital India State Consultation Workshop was organised by the National e-Governance Division (NeGD), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) for the Government of Uttar Pradesh in collaboration with the Uttar Pradesh Development Systems Corporation Ltd. (UPDESCO) in Lucknow on November 25, 2024.
Officials from the Uttar Pradesh government participated in the workshop which focused on various initiatives launched by NeGD under the Government’s flagship Digital India Programme such as DigiLocker, Entity Locker, API Setu, OpenForge, myScheme, UMANG, UX4G among others. Important verticals like Cyber Security and Capacity Building were also discussed.
The workshop was inaugurated by Shri Anil Kumar Sagar, IAS, Principal Secretary, IT & Electronics, Government of Uttar Pradesh and Ms. Neha Jain, IAS, Special Secretary, IT & Electronics, and State Coordinator, Centre for e-Governance, Uttar Pradesh. Shri J L Gupta, Director, NeGD; MeitY, Shri Hemant Arora, Senior Director (IT), NIC; Shri Raees Akhtar, SP (Technical Services), and Lt. Col. (Dr.) Praveen Kumar Singh, Director, UIDAI also graced the event.
