The Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), in collaboration with the National e-Governance Division (NeGD) and NISG, conducted a capacity-building workshop on the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023, on July 8, 2025, at Hycinth Hotel, Thiruvananthapuram, aiming to strengthen institutional readiness across government bodies and industry stakeholders
Over 100 participants, including senior officials from MeitY, NeGD, State IT mission representatives, government departments, data protection officers from the banking, financial services, and IT sectors, attended the event. The workshop featured panel sessions led by reputed experts in privacy, legal, and cybersecurity domains.
