An Awareness Session on the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023, and the DPDP Rules will focus on creating awareness among the officials about the key provisions of the DPDP Act and Rules and their relevance to the functioning of the Department. The programme provides practical insights into how data protection principles can be incorporated into existing processes and operations involving the collection, processing, storage, and sharing of personal data. The awareness programme is part of the broader awareness and capacity-building initiatives aimed at supporting government organisations in understanding and implementing the requirements of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and fostering a culture of responsible personal data management across public institutions.
