The National e-Governance Division (NeGD), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), conducted an awareness session on the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023 for the third batch of participants at NCERT. The session brought together participants from various departments and institutions in the education sector representing Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab, Delhi, Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, and Himachal Pradesh.

The Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of Gujarat, in collaboration with the State eGovernance Mission Team (SeMT) Gujarat and the National e-Governance Division (NeGD), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), conducted a two-day workshop and strategic consultation on the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023 and the DPDP Rules, 2025 on August 12 & 13, 2026.

The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, through the National eGovernance Division (NeGD), in association with Panjab University, Chandigarh, organised a Digital India Talk Show at the Centre for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (CSDE), Panjab University.

The session, addressed by Mr. Soumavo Majumder, Data Privacy Expert, NeGD, brought together officials from Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Lakshadweep, and Kerala.
