Three D integrated Solutions Ltd. (Three DiS) and Society for Applied Microwave Electronics Engineering and Research (SAMEER), a premiere R&D organisation under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India entered into a strategic partnership to address the key challenges of the fast-growing Indian market.

Digital India Corporation (DIC) achieved a significant milestone with the inauguration of its new office at Express Corporate Park, Noida. The ceremony was graced by Shri S. Krishnan, IAS, Secretary, Ministry of Electronics and IT, who officially inaugurated the office in the presence of Shri Abhishek Singh, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Electronics and IT; Shri Akash Tripathi, IAS, CEO of DIC & MyGov; and Shri K. K. Singh, IAS, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Electronics and IT.

Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Sh. Jitin Prasada, inaugurated the 4th edition of the India Internet Governance Forum (IIGF) at Bharat Mandapam. The event, a vibrant platform for dialogue and action, brought together policymakers, industry leaders, and civil society to discuss the future of Internet governance.

Union Minister of State for External Affairs and Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Shri Kirti Vardhan Singh, addressed the media at a press conference on Digital Infrastructure and Connectivity in New Delhi today. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the world is now recognizing India’s digital revolution.

National e-Governance Division (NeGD), under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), in collaboration with the Indian School of Business (ISB), Mohali, inaugurated a five-day training program on “Digital Transformation for Senior Leaders”.

In alignment with the vision of Digital India, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) continues its mission to strengthen digital governance through the Capacity Building Scheme of the National e-Governance Division (NeGD). A 2-day training programme kickstarted on ‘Applications of AI/ML’, conducted by NeGD, MeitY, in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Management, Visakhapatnam, from December 2 – 3, 2024.

A Digital India State Consultation Workshop was organised by the National e-Governance Division (NeGD), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) for the Government of Tamil Nadu in collaboration with the Tamil Nadu e-Governance Agency (TNeGA) in Chennai on November 28, 2024.

As part of its ongoing commitment to the Digital India Vision, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has launched the third phase of its capacity-building initiative. This initiative focuses on critical areas such as Digital Public Infrastructure, Contract and Procurement Management, the Application of AI & ML, Managing Large Digital Transformation Projects, Digital Governance, and Data Management.

A Digital India State Consultation Workshop was organised by the National e-Governance Division (NeGD), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) in collaboration with the Government of Uttar Pradesh and the Uttar Pradesh Development Systems Corporation Ltd. (UPDESCO) in Lucknow on November 25, 2024.

The Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), Chennai has developed two Visible Light Communication enabled solutions, namely, (i) A Non-Line Of Sight Approach for Visible Light Communication based Indoor PosITioning SYstem (NLOS-VICINITY) and (ii) VIsibLe Light CommUnication enabled Smart Indoor LightiNg And Control SysTEm (ILLUMINATE).

The Military College of Telecommunication Engineering (MCTE), on behalf of the Indian Army, and the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), formalized a strategic partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a Centre of Excellence (CoE) at MCTE, Mhow.
