The National e-Governance Division (NeGD), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India, organised a Digital India Awareness Workshop at Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College (AKGEC), Ghaziabad, on October 9, 2025. The workshop sought to enhance digital literacy and inform students about key Digital India initiatives that are transforming the way citizens access government services leveraging technology.

The National e-Governance Division (NeGD), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology is pleased to announce the successful integration of HimParivar and HimAccess cards of the Government of Himachal Pradesh with the DigiLocker Issuer API. This marks a significant step in advancing the Digital India vision by enabling residents of Himachal Pradesh to seamlessly access their HimParivar Family Cards and HimAccess Cards through DigiLocker.

The National e-Governance Division (NeGD), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology is pleased to announce the successful integration of the Department of Labour, Government of Punjab’s services with DigiLocker, a flagship initiative under the Digital India programme. This integration, carried out in collaboration with the NIC Punjab State Centre, marks a significant step in enabling digital access to essential labour records for citizens.

The workshop aimed at spreading awareness of flagship Digital India initiatives and empowering students- the next generation of India’s digital leaders- to engage in the nation’s transformation through technology.

The National e-Governance Division (NeGD), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India, organised a Digital India Awareness Workshop at the Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology (MAIT), Rohini, Delhi, on September 12, 2025. The workshop aimed at spreading awareness of flagship Digital India initiatives and empowering students- the next generation of India’s digital leaders- to learn about key Digital India initiatives instrumental in the nation’s transformation through technology.

NeGD conducted a Digital India Awareness Workshop at Lady Shri Ram College for Women (LSR), University of Delhi on August 27, 2025. The workshop brought together students, faculty, and Digital India officials to engage in an interactive knowledge-sharing platform aimed at spreading awareness about key Digital India initiatives and encouraging youth engagement in India’s digital transformation journey.

MeitY participated in the ‘28th National Exhibition’ held at Central Park Maidan, Salt Lake City, Kolkata from August 21-24, 2025. It’s stall exhibited key Digital India flagship initiatives including DigiLocker, EntityLocker, UMANG, and myScheme.

NeGD successfully conducted a Digital India Talk Show at the International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS), Mumbai on August 21, 2025. The event drew active participation from about 100 students and faculty members, fostering awareness regarding India’s ongoing digital transformation.

NeGD, MeitY, in collaboration with the Directorate of Information Technology, Govt. of Puducherry, organized a Workshop on DigiLocker and UMANG in Puducherry. The event was inaugurated by Shri Choudhary Mohammed Yasin, IAS (Secretary, IT), alongside Shri Shivraj Meena (Director, IT), Shri Mahesh Halyal (SIO, NIC) and Shri Ajay Kumar (Addl. Director, NeGD). Shri Yasin emphasized empowering citizens with seamless online access to documents and certificates through DigiLocker and to provide all services of the UT digitally through the UMANG app. NeGD experts delivered technical sessions on DigiLocker, Entity Locker & UMANG, explaining their operational and technical aspects.
