Global FinTech Fest 2026
The National e-Governance Division (NeGD), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), participated in the Global FinTech Fest (GFF) 2026 in September 2026, showcasing key Digital India initiatives, including DigiLocker, EntityLocker, API Setu, UMANG and IndiaAI. Addressing GFF 2026, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi highlighted the potential of Agentic AI, tokenisation and quantum technologies, and emphasised the need to translate these emerging possibilities into real-world impact while strengthening cybersecurity, data protection, innovation and consumer trust. The NeGD pavilion witnessed participation from 100+ entities, including fintech organisations, startups, financial institutions, technology partners, innovators and other stakeholders. The engagement focused on demonstrating the practical use of these platforms, their key capabilities, and the process and opportunities for integration with existing systems and digital services. The pavilion provided a platform for stakeholders to understand how these initiatives can enable secure, seamless, interoperable and citizen-centric digital services, while facilitating discussions on potential use cases, collaboration and integration opportunities across the fintech and digital ecosystem.
