Orientation of the Digital India program
On August 5, 2025, NeGD hosted an engaging session for the Thailand Delegation and APO Program Officer from Tokyo, Japan, as part of the Asian Productivity Organisation (APO) initiative. Keynote Address by Ms. Aditi Singh, Director, NeGD, MeitY, highlighted transformative efforts under the Digital India program and its profound impact on governance, transparency, and citizen services – UMANG, Digital Payment, Aadhaar and DigiLocker. The delegation also visited the PM Gati Shakti Experiential Centre, gaining insights into India’s digital infrastructure advancements.
