
Bihar Divas Celebration
Bihar Diwas 2025 was celebrated from March 22 to 24 at Gandhi Maidan, marking the 113th anniversary of the state’s formation. The event, inaugurated by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, embraced the theme “Unnat Bihar, Vikasit Bihar” (Advanced Bihar, Developed Bihar).
The festival emphasized women’s empowerment through thematic plays at Premchand Rangshala, featuring all-female casts to convey messages of equality and strength.
Special programs, including painting workshops, were organized for differently-abled children, fostering inclusivity and showcasing their talents.
During the celebration, various thematic stalls showcased the state’s culture and progress. The Health Department offered free check-ups and vaccinations. The Industries Stall highlighted local entrepreneurship and industrial growth. The Tourism Pavilion used 3D visuals to promote key tourist sites. Cultural stalls featured traditional crafts, textiles, and artworks, reflecting Bihar’s rich heritage. Overall, the stalls provided a blend of tradition, innovation, and public service.
