Case Study

NEWS18 MAR-2021 The central government has decided to open up the COVID-19 vaccination process for every Indian citizen above 45 years of age from April 1. The decision was announced as COVID-19 cases in India continue to rise, where states like Maharashtra even recorded over 30,000 cases in a single day (March 21). The countrywide vaccination drive was rolled out on January 16 with healthcare workers getting inoculated first, which further extended to frontline workers from February 2 onwards. The next phase of the inoculation drive commenced on March 1 for those who are over 60 years of age and for people aged 45 and above with specified co-morbid conditions.
